DXL : what is the element "compositedata" ?

It is seemingly everywhere in forms.

 

When prettyfied, it seems to cause the error "Base64 byte stream contains invalid data or is too large to store in a single note item" upon re-import, but when suppressed, no problem, and I haven't been able to spot a difference in result.

Vague memories of this being the C API name for richtext.

Forms are essentially richtext ... with support for fields and other embedded design elements.
